April promises "make or break" events in Armenia
A hardline opposition movement in Armenia is apparently quite to determine to take on the regime and impose the change it wants to see unfold in the country.
Despite widespread criticisms, the Founding Parliament remains adamant it wants to stage fresh anti-government rallies, starting April 24, on the anniversary of Armenia`s so-called "genocide" commemorations.

Within the "The 100th Anniversary Without the Regime" campaign, the opposition forerunner has called on everyone to flock to the streets of Yerevan and demand for the incumbent regime to step down.

"Weв`ve adopted a peaceful strategy. The rumors that we are going to disturb April 24 commemoration events are not true. We plan to gather during the second half of the day and to start a peaceful mobilization," the leader of the campaign, Jirayr Sefilyan said.

Sefilyan promised to launch nonstop rallies in view of achieving the key goals - to eliminate the incumbent rulers and to break ground for a new life in Armenia.

"We will be back to our houses only when we manage to get rid of this regime. Whatever happens, whatever sacrifices it will require, it will not go in vain, and we will finally succeed. Definitely, we take this responsibility upon us,`` Sefilyan said.

Meanwhile, the Founding Parliament scheduled to hold a rally in Gyumri city on March 28. The very recent march of vehicles to Gyumri on March 7 was canceled due to a last-minute decision by activists to return to Yerevan after the government appeared set to engage in violence.

Sefilyan also dwelled on his earlier call on citizens which urged them not to repay their bank loans as part of the upcoming anti-government push. He said if there is not a voluntary will, nobody can be forced to feed banks.

Although many Armenians believe now is not the time to stage a regime change, the Founding Parliament leaders overtly announce that it is their deliberate choice to play hard ball against the rulers, namely on April 24.

Sefilyan has recently revealed his plan to create a civil army in Armenia in an effort to provide the needed ground ahead of a regime`s possible overthrow.

The commemoration of the centennial of the "Armenian genocide" myth will apparently take a back sit next month if the nationwide rally succeeds to dethrone President Serzh Sargsyan along with his disciples. Otherwise, Armenia will experience its hardest ever political persecution to date.

It is important to note that the worst ever confrontation between the Founding Parliament activists and the government forces took place earlier this year when members of the opposition movement organized a large-scale rally of 40 cars and 120 people to seek a regime change in Armenia. It was part of their efforts to enter the territory of the so-called "Nagorno-Karabakh republic." But, the police of the puppet regime brutally suppressed the march, beating protesters and busting cars in an unprecedented show of violence.
